Through extensive experience, and dedication, they have helped Accelerated Connections become one of Canada's most sought-after suppliers of high-speed retail connectivity, nationwide private networking solutions, and hosted PBX voice services.

Michael Garbe - President & CEO

Michael founded Accelerated Connections in July 2000. Under Michael’s guidance the company has grown to service over 100 retail chains nationwide, including industry leaders such as Second Cup Coffee Company, SirCorp, Active Green and Ross, Tristan and many others. Complimenting the data offerings the company was founded on, in 2006 Michael lead the company in creating a Hosted PBX voice service in over 550 communities across the country, now serving thousands of subscribers. As the leader of Accelerated Connections, Michael encourages all of our team members to treat our customers as we would like to be treated ourselves. Michael believes in taking an active role in the ISP community to further the industry for all. He is Vice President of the Canadian Network Operators Consortium (CNOC) and heads up the Carrier relations/negotiating committee. Michael is also a board member of AceTech Ontario which brings together CEOs of tech companies to work together to improve their own skills. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in Political Science.

Adrian Boros - VP, Technical Services

As the driving force behind ACI's dynamic and robust data network, Adrian Boros provides momentous guidance and leadership to the network support, engineering and architecture teams. Drawing from over 12 years of experience in network communications, Adrian also studied applied mathematics at York University which provided him the pathway to gain extensive experience in both computer sciences and network architecture. Through his previous role at the Cybernomics Corporation, Adrian secured an affluence of skill and versatility in Citrix, Microsoft, Linux and other server administration environments. Adrian's comprehensive background continues to lend as an invaluable resource to nearly all aspects of the ACI team.

David Richardson - VP, Finance

David's expertise includes a strong foundation in many fields including financial analysis, asset management, operations, financial systems design and implementation, payroll, and human resources. Prior to joining ACI, David worked as the Director of Finance for Novx Systems Inc., where he was intimately involved in securing two rounds of Venture Capital financing. Before joining Novx, he was the Director of Finance at Sibson Canada Inc., heavily assisting in the acquisition of Sibson by a US consulting firm. David is certified as a CGA, including a B.Ec. from McMaster University and is affiliated to the CGA Association of Ontario and the Acetech CFO Group. Today, David plays a major role in the company leading many accounting and legal aspects of the business, and assisting in the long-term growth and prosperity of ACI.

Kerrye Gordon - Director, Business Development

Kerrye Gordon serves as Director of Business Development with ACI and is responsible for sales and business development efforts as well as strategic planning and partnerships. Kerrye initially came on board in 2002 as the second employee at ACI and has been instrumental in the growth and development of the company. Since inception, Kerrye has served in a variety of strategic roles, from Operations manager and Channel manager to Director of Business Development. She brings over 16 years of IT industry experience as well as significant operational and technical knowledge. Kerrye focuses on developing and maintaining long term strategic relationships with new and existing clients and partners.  She brings both industry knowledge and technical expertise in creating innovative data network and voice solutions for both retail chains and multi-location businesses across Canada and the US.

Maureen Toth - Manager, Provisioning & Implementation

Leading the inside sales and provisioning teams, Maureen Toth draws from over 16 years in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Accelerated Connections, Maureen worked as a Communications Co-ordinator for Rogers Communications where she established herself as an integral part of their enterprise team. When joining ACI, Maureen brought this wealth of experience to the company where she continues to provide outstanding management qualities leading her teams to serve clients with superlative support and service. Maureen also plays an indispensable role in vendor relations, maintaining excellent aliances to help facilitate rapid provisioning time-frames, ultimately providing a better customer and reseller experience to ACI's clientele.

Chris Piras - Manager, Technical Services

Drawing from a wealth of experience in technical roles throughout his career, Chris brings exceptional leadership, technical know-how and management skills to ACI's support team. Chris has been a part of the ACI team since 2005, where he excelled in his initial network support roles. As Chris procured further knowledge into advanced server & networking skills, he was enlisted as ACI's lead server administrator for many of it's hosted and managed platforms. Further advancing in his career with ACI, Chris was promoted to Manager of Technical Services, where he continues to channel his abundance of dexterity into ACI's support team. It is with his leadership and guidance that clients are guaranteed excellence in their support experiences with ACI.
