Through a variety of comprehensive measures, ACI ensures that your data and equipment is secure at all times. The 151 Front St W facility employs multi-stage security measures, including CCTV, security patrol, motion sensors, and security card checking points.

On-site uniformed security patrol the premises and surrounding area and engage in a customized security system and protocol. This system is a configurable point monitoring and access control system providing a powerful means of monitoring building security devices and systems through card readers, alarm management, recording of data and comprehensive reporting capabilities as well as a photo identification system. Incorporated into this system are optical turnstiles, which provide a second level of security at the main entrance. There are over 50 closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras located through-out the building, monitoring the mechanical areas, tenant floor, loading dock and high-security areas such as the Meet-Me-Room and hydro vault. Within this system ACI has our own proprietary security systems working in conjunction with the building security that include infrared cameras and motion sensors.

The 151 Front St W colocation facility is considered one of the most critical buildings in Canada. As such, it employs a multi-level security checkpoint system. As personnel enter the facility they immediately pass through a "man-trap" system, where front-line security can deny access to the individual if they do not meet the security requirements. Once entered into the building, access to specific floors is controlled through a security checkpoint in the elevator system, allowing access to only the authorized floor. As clients enter ACI's secure data centre, they must again check-in to provide a final level of authentication.
